Laurence

Laurence Raybois was raised in Provence. At 21 she moved to the U.S. and began to work in American politics. She has researched issues for national, state, and local agencies, been advisor to initiative and referendum campaigns, and aided non-profit and special-interest groups.

She consults with foreigners wishing to own real estate in France. She regularly advises on administrative and practical issues.

While living in France with her family, she was frequently solicited to facilitate negotiations with neighbors, and to navigate miles of bureaucratic red tape. This book was spawned by the many experiences of her second career.

Laurence, her husband Peter, son Gabriel, and infant daughter Alexandra, share their time between their home near Seattle, Washington, and Provence.
